Melipoly Honey

Assalammualaikum and hi everyone!

So last Saturday we went to Taste Fully Food and Beverages Expo in Mid Valley. Guess what? We found a huge honey booth justttt in front of the entrance. It is a Melipoly Honey, they're selling a 99.99% pure honey! You know it is kinda hard to find a really pure and natural honey nowadays since there is a lot of sugar added honey in our local store. So I am quite excited to finally found a brand that sells pure honey like Melipoly! Hmmm.. how do I know that they are really a pure honey?

My husband and I met Mr Darren at the Melipoly booth and he explained to us almost everything about Melipoly honey! Thanks to him, now I have some knowledge about honey 😄 I knew that we have several types of honey like madu lebah, madu kelulut but truthfully, I didn't know what is the different between them haha. Silly me. Now that I know a lil bit about honey, let me share with you guys!

Melipoly is a Malaysian beekeeping enterprise specialising in the production of pure, organic raw honey from the Malaysian rainforests. They are uniquely able to ensure the quality and purity of their honey because they are a vertically integrated enterprise. Melipoly control the entire honey production and supply chain from the bee farms to the collection, processing and packaging of the honey. For the muslims, do not worry! They have their Halal Certificate from Jakim!

Melipoly manage populations of both Asian Honey Bees and Stingless Bees. Their bees are kept in farms in the forest, away from industrial, urban and pesticide-using agricultural areas in order to ensure that the bees are isolated from pollution and pesticides. How cool is that?

Do not worry because Melipoly have a strict policy of not feeding their bees, to ensure that the honey they produce is purely sourced from the forest and contains only the natural nutrients of the forest trees and plants. Are you really sure that the honey you bought at the local store has this kind of really good production? Think again!

So basically Melipoly have three (3) types of honey which is ;

Multifloral Honey

Multifloral Honey or in Malay we call it as Madu Bunga is produced by indigenous honey bees from a variety of floral sources in the lush green rainforests of Malaysia. It is generally pale to medium amber in color and is clean, sweet and mild in flavour, with a bouquet of floral aromas.

Apis Cerana Honey

Apis Cerana Honey or in Malay we call it as Madu Hutan is harvested from where the best honey in the world is made nature. Just honey of the highest purity, produced by free-foraging bees in the Malaysian rainforest. Just as nature intended it to be. The taste is not too sweet but a little bit strong than the Multifloral Honey.

Stingless Bee Honey

Stingless Bee Honey or in Malay is Madu Kelulut is harvested in limited quantity each year from tiny stingless bees that collect nectar from a wide variety of plants and herbs in the tropical rainforest. The raw stingless bee honey has a unique, deeply aromatic, sweet-sour taste and also contains propolis. The taste is quite strong though if you want to take some, just put under your tongue and hold it for 3 seconds and then swallow.

During the expo, Melipoly also have their own Honey Cafe and they sells all desserts and beverages made from honey!

Here is Honey Lemon Ice Cream! Tastes so good!! Sweet-sourly soft serve. Made from honey, and yogurt. Sounds so healthy but indulging!

So we went back home with Apis Cerana Honey and I just can't wait to try it on my face as the Melipoly Executive Director , Mr Almond told me that this honey is really good to put on as facial mask!

There you go! Melipoly Pure Rainforest Honey face mask!

As we all know, raw honey is full of antioxidants to help fight wrinkles and aging skin. In fact, Cleopatra was a huge fan of honey and used it regularly for her beauty routine. To get rid of acne, blackheads, wrinkles and dirt, we can use honey to beat those skin's enemies as honey is loaded with many vitamins and minerals. It has the ability to fight with microbes which can damage your skin. By using this Melipoly pure honey, you can get many benefits by consuming it but to get more, apply it on your face as a mask! Pure honey face mask is the only facial treatment from which you can see the result from the very first use.

I also made some Hot Honey Lemon Tea using Melipoly Honey as it contains a fair amount of Vitamin C, is less than 25 calories, and is also a natural diuretic. Honey Lemon Tea acts as a body cleanser and removes toxins from the body.

No sugar added please! Just put about two (2) teaspoons of Melipoly Honey and you are ready to dig in!
